Seniors Show Appreciation!

Every Tuesday MudBlosm Connections delivers food to low income seniors in Gresham. This week they surprised Jessica with a handmade thank you card that they all signed. Volunteer Ginny Ardent, who lives at the building, expressed how much this helps her and her neighbors have enough food to get through the month.

According to Medicare Advantage one-third of all seniors report trimming the size of their meals, skipping meals completely or buying less nutritious foods because they didn’t have enough money. It can also be a hardship for seniors to get to a grocery store due to health or mobility issues. Not having healthy, nutritious meals easily leads to serious health issues among older adults.

MudBlosm Connections is so grateful we can help feed these seniors.

Please consider donating to help us continue to help others! We need volunteers for food deliveries, gently used clothing/shoes, and funds to keep our programs going.

  1. Absolutely amazing work Mudblosm does!!! I’m not the recipient of all the help given, except that it fills my heart knowing there are such compassionate and caring individuals in our community, and that is the ultimate gift.
